DENVER

As August wrapped, Denver continued to bring the heat—in more ways than one. From major project wins to milestone promotions, the team kept up the momentum with purpose and precision.

On the sales side, our Project team secured two major wins this month. Scott Day booked a $1 million boiler replacement at the Ritz-Carlton, while Brian Sobnosky landed a $414,000 chiller replacement for Skyridge Surgical Center. These are the kind of complex, high-profile jobs where our expertise really shines.

Maintenance Sales had a strong showing as well. Ryan Hill secured a $115,000 service agreement for CBRE/HCA’s medical office building portfolio, covering 11 locations across the metro. That’s a major win. Ryan and Jacob Horn also teamed up to close 355 Union’s PM contract for $40,000, and Amber Throckmorton locked in a $22,000 agreement for PM on the Ritz-Carlton boilers—a great complement to the install project already in motion.

Meanwhile, Operations had their hands full, and the crew delivered across multiple complex scopes. The Forest Park boiler replacement was expertly handled by Steve Rael and Brendan Evans, while the Equinix CRAC unit installs were led by Kyle Frisk, Nick Warner, and Josh Brown. Over at Molson Coors, a series of ongoing projects were managed with precision by Louis Vigil and Jeremy Romero, and the chiller replacement for Intermountain Health’s Oncology Clinic was brought to life by Nick Warner, Steve Rael, and Brendan Evans. These projects are a reflection of the grit and coordination this team brings to every job.

This month, we also had the pleasure of recognizing two major milestones within the team.

First, congratulations to Salvador Hernandez, who officially completed his 8,500 on-the-job hours and earned his promotion to Journeyman Service Technician. Salvador joined Haynes in May of 2021 and has consistently shown accountability, curiosity, and a steady presence that brings confidence to every site he steps on. A graduate of our Mentorship Program and now a key part of Jeff Winter’s team supporting Dish Network, Salvador’s quiet tenacity and willingness to grow have made him a valued member of our Denver operation.

And we’re equally proud to share that Dustin Rudolph has been promoted to Predictive Analyst / New Equipment Startup Technician. In this new role, Dustin will lead predictive services—including vibration analysis and condition-monitoring—on systems across all Haynes locations, while also overseeing and documenting new equipment startups for the Denver region. Dustin joined Haynes back in 2014 and has continually aligned with our values and culture. Recognized as both Technician of the Quarter and Technician of the Year – Denver in 2024, he’s set a high bar for excellence and is more than ready for this next step. Dustin will report directly to Joe Muir in this expanded role.

From top-tier installations to career-defining promotions, August was a month of impact in Denver. Let’s keep that momentum rolling right into fall.
